Fall means football for a lot of households including mine, and football season means tailgating or for this year we’re calling it #HOMEGATING. From fun favor ideas to cool football themed cakes to serving food tailgate style and party decorations, there are so many easy ways to throw a party that will score a touchdown. One of my go-to’s is getting all my grocery needs from ShopRite. The football theme easily lends itself to serving food in a casual buffet style. Offer up traditional game day foods including chips, dips, pizza, chili, nachos, wings, fruits, etc to keep your football family well fed throughout the day. I like to add in a few football themed plates and napkins on the table because who doesn’t love a tailgate with props. There are even tablecloths that look like football fields, how adorable right?

When it comes to snacks for games I am all in. There is something about football game day food that takes me feel so nostalgic. One of favorite things to snack on as of late has been charcuterrie boards fill with fruits, cheeses, and crackers. I am addicted to these yummy snacks with so much flavor. Remember the food just make the football even better (especially if your preferred team isn’t doing to hot on the field)… so add in anything you like for snacks. I tried the new Lay’s Cheddar Jalapeño chips for the first time and they were such a hit with my family, we’re obsessed now. I also picked up some buffalo chicken dip and salsa which paired perfectly with the tortilla chips.
